    Below is a scope trace showing a signal over one cycle, scaled at 2V/Div. A conventional oscilloscope or the Emtron scope can be used to view a signal to best determine the correct arming thresholds. The preferred method is to find the lowest amplitude during one cycle (highlighted by the red circle below) and make the arming threshold 60% of that value.

    Auxiliary channels 13-16 are the only outputs with enough current to power such solenoids. It is strongly recommended to run an external flywheel diode to prevent long term ECU damage. If the output is modulated a flywheel diode MUST be installed (See Emtron www for details).

    ECU Supply power can be shared, assuming the wire gauge has a sufficient rating for the current demand. In DBW applications power to this pin MUST come from an ECU controlled DBW Relay. See KV Series Power Distribution Wiring - Emtron.pdf for more information on how this should be wired.
