Use this setting to control whether road numbers are read aloud as part of navigation instructions. For
example, when road numbers are read aloud, you hear "Turn left onto A100".

Read aloud road sign information

Use this setting to control whether road sign information is read aloud as part of navigation instructions.
For example, "Turn left onto A302 Bridge Street towards Islington."

Read aloud street names
Use this setting to control whether street names are read aloud as part of navigation instructions. For
example, when street names are read aloud, you hear "Turn left Graham Road towards Hackney."

Read aloud foreign street names
Use this setting to control whether foreign street names are read aloud as part of navigation instructions,
such as "Turn right onto Champs Élysées". For example, an English computer voice can read and pronounce
French street names but pronunciation may not be completely accurate.

Alert type
You can choose how you want to be warned:

See alerts on the screen, and hear spoken warnings and warning sounds - these are only available if you
are using a computer voice.

See alerts on the screen and hear warning sounds.

Visual only
No warning sounds are given.
Alerts
You can set how you want to be warned for the different types of cameras or danger zones. You can choose
whether you want to be always warned or never warned.

When speeding
You can choose to be warned if you exceed the speed limit by more than 5 km/h or 3 mph.

Traffic jam ahead
Traffic jam warnings in the route bar are part of TomTom Traffic. You can choose never to be warned, or to
be warned sooner when approaching a traffic jam.

Speed cameras & hazards
You can choose to be warned if there are speed cameras or hazards ahead.

Audio Output

On this screen, you can choose which Android audio channel to use for voice instructions and warnings. You
can choose from these channels:
