How to use the world time mode
In addition to 42 cities around the world and the UTC, the times on the World s
Seven Summits and Mt. Fuji and time diff erences are displayed. You can set the
summer time (DST) to each city or mountain except for UTC.
※You can set the world time from the application.
I f synchronization of settings except for automatic time synchronization is performed,

the settings are overwritten by those on the application side.
※ T he UTC is a global common standard time defi ned with an international agreement. It is
used as an offi cial time to record times all over the world.

top row of the display, the city name is shown.

・Press Button Ⓒ or Button Ⓔ to select the city name.
※ P ress and hold Button Ⓒ or Button Ⓔ to quickly move the city names.
・ W hen you select a city, the time diff erence from the UTC
appears at the bottom row and changes to the home
time 2 seconds later if no operation is conducted.
(3)How to set the DST
・ W ith each press of Button Ⓓ in the world time mode, the
summer time can be alternately set or cancelled.
W hen the summer time is turned on, the "DST" mark appears on the display
and the time is advanced for one hour.
・ I f DST is turned on in the world time mode and the same city is selected in the
time/calendar mode, DST will also be shown in the time/calendar mode.
If DST is turned on in the time/calendar mode and the same city is selected in
the world time mode, DST will also be shown in the world time mode.
※If GMT is selected, the DST cannot be set.
・ D ST (Daylight Saving Time)
Daylight Saving Time means summer time, which is a system to lengthen daylight time by advancing 1 hour
when daylight time is long in summer. Daylight Saving Time has been adopted in about 80 countries, mainly in
Europe and North America. The adoption and duration of daylight saving time vary depending on the country.
※ T he time diff erence and use of Daylight Saving Time in each area are subject to change according
to the respective countries or region.
※ I n some regions, time zones that diff er from UTC by half- or quarter-hour time diff erences are established.
How to use the altimeter (ALTI) mode
