Attenzione - La data cambia alle 00:00 (mezzanotte), non alle 12:00 (mezzogiorno).

  • Page 8 IMPOSTAZIONE DEL CONTO ALLA ROVESCIA (TIMER) Il timer (conto alla rovescia) permette all’utente di scegliere l’orario da cui far partire il conto alla rovescia. L’utente può regolare il timer per una durata compresa tra 10’ ed 1 minuto. Durante l’ultimo minuto non è consentita la regolazione del conto alla rovescia.
  • Page 9 IMPOSTAZIONE DEL CONTO ALLA ROVESCIA (TIMER) • Premere il tasto B per circa 1 secondo per entrare in modalità impostazione, fi no all’emissione di 1 bip. • Dopo 1 secondo, premere il tasto B, passo per passo, per regolare la lancetta centrale ed impostare la durata desiderata del conto alla rovescia.

  • Page 15 REGOLAZIONE DEL CONTO ALLA ROVESCIA E DEL CRONOGRAFO Regolazione del conto alla rovescia (timer): • Premere A per fermare il conto alla rovescia, 1 bip. • Premere B, la lancetta del contatore al 10 si azzera e si posiziona a “60”. La lancetta centrale ritorna all’ora impostata precedentemente per l’inizio del conto alla rovescia.
  • Page 16 RE-INIZIALIZZAZIONE DEL CONTO ALLA ROVESCIA/CRONOGRAFO (SOLO PER LA REGOLAZIONE DOPO IL CAMBIO BATTERIA) A seguito del cambio di batteria, di un’errata accensione, di un impatto violento o di un’esposizione ad un forte di campo magnetico le lancette del conto alla rovescia, o del cronografo, potrebbero non tornare alla loro posizione originale (zero).

  • Page 18 INDICAZIONE ESAURIMENTO DELLA BATTERIA Questo meccanismo è equipaggiato con la funzione EOL (End of life - Esaurimento batteria) per avvertire l’utente quando la batteria si sta scaricando. Questa può essere visualizzata con la lancetta piccola dei secondi (a 2 ore) che avanza 4 passi ogni 4 secondi.

    TO SET THE TIME AND DATE • Pull the crown to position 3. • Turn the crown anti-clockwise to set the time of the day (hour & minute) and the date. • Push the crown to position 1. Attention - The date changes at 00:00midnight, not at 12:00noon. - Make sure that the AM/PM is set correctly, or the date will not change correctly.

  • Page 25 ALARM ON/OFF • Press C to activate the alarm, 2 beeps emit. • Press C again to deactivate the alarm, 1 beep emits. Alarm repetition: If the alarm is not turned « OFF » during the fi rst ringing, a repetition alarm will ring in 2 minutes.
  • Page 26 TO SET THE COUNTDOWN (TIMER) The countdown timer allows the user to choose the time to be counted down up to the start of race timing. The user can set the countdown duration between 10 minutes and 1 minute. Adjustment of countdown is not allowed during the last minute.
  • Page 27 TO SET THE COUNTDOWN TIMER: • Press B for ~ 1 second to enter into the setting mode, 1 beep emits. • After 1 second, press B step-by-step to set the central hand in order to defi ne the duration of countdown. Between the positions of 0 minute and 10 minutes, the central hand advances fast automatically to “10 min.”.

  • Page 29 COUNTDOWN PROGRESS BEEPER Once countdown is activated, there are beepers to communicate to the user about the progress of the countdown. • During countdown, 2 beeps emit every minute up to the last minute. Then: • 50” before the end of countdown, 1 beep emits. •...
  • Page 30 “SECOND CHANCE” COUNTDOWN ADJUSTMENT The user can at anytime during the countdown period adjust the countdown timer, except the last minute. Example : If the countdown was set at 10 minutes at the beginning with delay: • The user can, during the countdown runs, adjust it to 9 min. by pressing B.
  • Page 31 CHRONOGRAPHE • When count down is finished, race timing starts automatically. • The central minute counter hand displays the race timing minutes (1 step every 12 seconds). The small hand at 10H counter displays the race timing hours from 0 hour to 24 hours, up to 96 hours maximum (1 step every hour).
  • Page 32 RACING TIMER START/STOP Stop: • Press A to stop the racing timer, 1 beep emits to confi rm the racing timer «OFF». Start: • Press A again to start the race timing function, 2 beeps emit to confi rm that the racing timer is engaged «ON». GB.

  • Page 34 REINITIALIZING THE COUNTDOWN / RACING TIMER HANDS (FOR RESET ONLY AFTER BATTERY CHANGE OR MISHANDLING) Following a battery change, an incorrect actuation, violent impact or exposure to a strong magnetic fi eld, the countdown/racing timer counter hands may fail to revert to its original position (zero). Attention: Setting can be done only after having stopped and reset the countdown or the race timing.
