6. Open the cover, and then remove the separation roller.
See "Replacing the Roller Assembly Kit" for more details.
7. Wipe off any dust or dirt on the separation roller using a genuine Epson cleaning kit or a soft, moist cloth.

Use only a genuine Epson cleaning kit or a soft, moist cloth to clean the roller. Using a dry cloth may damage
the surface of the roller.

After removing a paper jam, is it necessary to start the whole multiple page scan over from the beginning?
There is a spring on the white face plate of the separator wheel that fell off while cleaning the wheels of ES-580W. Need to know where the spring fits under white face plate is placed back on the wheels? I don't think it goes where it shows in the picture because I am getting an error for paper jam.
