  • Page 5: Your In-Home Display Unit (Ihd)

    Your IHD is a touchscreen device that shows you a summary of energy use, including information like your account balance. Using this device alongside your Shell Energy online account will give you a complete view of your energy account in the palm of your hand.

This shows the status of your account and your balance. We recommend you keep your in-home device plugged into the mains at all times. Don’t worry about leaving it on constantly, it’ll only cost approximately 20p per year (depending on your tariff charges).
