2-2-1. Removal of Exterior Parts

. To avoid shock hazards and/or damage to the mounted
circuit boards, be sure to turn off the power switch of
DNE-1000 before inserting or pulling out the exterior
parts.
. To avoid shock hazards and/or fire by a short circuit, be
sure to set the removed exterior parts on the places that
will not be established a short circuit.
Because the exterior parts are conductive-coated.
1. Remove the four screws and the upper panel assembly
from the lower case.

When installing the upper panel assembly, be careful
not to damage the screw hole by strongly tightening.
2. Disconnect the one connector (CN3) on the CPU-206
board.

3. Remove the four screws from the upper panel assem-
bly and the KY-343 board.

4. Remove the dial knob rubber.
5. Remove the one screw (K 2.6x5) and the dial knob.
6. Remove the three screws (PWH 3x6) and the search
dial.
