Cleaning the rotary brush

Large accumulations of dirt or threads can collect in the rotary brush "B" (see
Fig. 1). If the rotary brush "B" stops turning, proceed as follows:
Remove the rotary brush "B":
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
Before cleaning the rotary brush "B" (see Fig. 1), remove the plug from the
mains power socket.
1) Turn the steam broom
facing you.
2) If you have not already done so, pull off the carpet ring

3) Pull the hook on the locking device "A" (see Fig. 1).
4) Pull the rotary brush "B" upwards out of the housing and then pull it out to
the side.
5) Remove any dirt (on both sides of the brush bristles) and clean the rotary
brush "B". To do this, take a damp cloth and wipe the individual bristle
bundles from the inside to the outside.
