MIT 100% ULTRASCHALL Ein- und Ausschalten Einschalten: Gerät durch Tastendruck (für ca. 1 Sekunde) einschalten. Optional können Sie durch das Drücken des Ein-Aus-Schalters für ca. 9 Sekunden den Signalton für den Posi- tionswechsel (bei ausgewählten Produkten auch den Vibrationsmotor) ausschalten. Die grüne LED der Betriebsanzeige leuchtet. - Page 4 ÜBERRAGENDE DENTALHYGIENE Anwendung der emmi®-dent Platinum mit 100% Original emmi®-dent Ultraschall. Nach dem Anschalten des Gerätes spüren Sie eine leichte Vibration und hören ein leises Geräusch. Beides hat mit dem eigentlichen Reinigungsvorgang nichts zu tun. Da man Ultra- schall weder sehen, hören noch fühlen kann, wurde ein kleiner Motor im Handteil integriert.
- Page 5 MIT 100% ULTRASCHALL Entzündungen, Parodontitis und Geschwüre im Mund Im Fall akuter Probleme wird empfohlen, die Borsten für 30 bis 60 Sekunden leicht an die betroffenen Stellen des Zahnfleisches zu halten. Dies kann zu einer schnelleren und besseren Heilung führen. Da der Original emmi®-dent Ultraschall unschädlich ist, kann er auch für längere Zeit angewendet werden.

Richtig ist, dass das geeignete Übertragungsmedium von der Ultraschallfrequenz und der Ultra- schallleistung abhängt. Dies ist zum Beispiel von medizinischen Anwendungen her allgemein bekannt. Hier sind die geeigneten Übertragungsmedien Salben und Gele verschiedener Konsistenz.

WITH 100% ULTRASOUND Switching on and off Switching on: Switch on the unit by pressing the pushbutton (for approx. 1 second). Op- tionally, press the ON / OFF button for about 9 seconds to switch off the position change beep (at selected products also the vibrating motor). -

SUPERIOR DENTAL HYGIENE Using the emmi®-dent Platinum with 100% Original emmi®-dent Ultrasound. After switching on the unit you will feel a soft vibration and hear a gentle sound. The actual cleansing process is not affected by this. You cannot see, hear or feel Ultrasound, and thus a small motor is integrated within the hand piece, so that the user can feel and hear that the device is switched on and ready for opera- tion. - Page 15 WITH 100% ULTRASOUND Inflammations, Parodontitis and Mouth Ulcers In acute cases, it is recommended to hold the bristles gently for 30 to 60 seconds on the affected sites. This will result in a qui- cker and better healing. The Original emmi®-dent Ultrasound is harmless and can also be used for a longer period of time.

Actually, the correct transmission medium depends on ultrasound frequency and ultrasound perfomance. It is a well-known concept in medi- cal implementations.

The warranty will not apply in case of interference or dismounting by third parties without the prior approval of Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH. The warranty will also be void for products that have been damaged through improper hand- ling or incorrect use.
