RESET: Acknowledging faults on LCD handset
For safety reasons, if a serious error is detected by the control unit all functions are electroni-
cally locked.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Failure to heed this warning, such as by repeatedly resetting the control unit without rectify-
ing the cause of the fault, may result in injury due to inadvertent actuation of the control unit
functions.
•
Acknowledge the fault as described below.
•
If the control unit automatically locks again within a short space, contact Stiegelmeyer's
service centre to rectify the cause of the fault.
Depending on the bed fixtures, the locked function is indicated by:
•
an appropriate warning symbol
•
the locking buttons concerned on the control box will alternately flash green and or-
ange.
If the patient presses a button, a signal tone indicates a fault. If after a RESET, it is still not
possible to carry out a mattress base height adjustment, please additionally carry out a new
initialisation.
ATTENTION
Risk of malfunctions
Failure to heed this warning may result in a malfunction.
•
Faults must only be rectified by service personnel.
•
Rectify faults as instructed in the fault rectification table. Faults must not be acknowledged
until they have been rectified.
Alternatively, a RESET can also be carried out very easily on the control box instead of
the LCD handset (see
