1. Quick Start Instructions for Single Pilot AGC Operation
1.
Remove the RF module cover and install the DSIM-SG AGC module into the amplifier.
Then re-install the RF module cover.

Turn S1 switch to manual (position 2).

Using the Manual Back off pot:
a. Turn to MAX gain
b. Back off:
i. 3.2 dB @ 547MHz
ii. 4.1 dB @ 750MHz
iii. 4.6 dB @ 870MHz

Turn S1 switch to position 3.
5.
Insert AGC PAD: 0 dB.
6.
Set the Input and Output levels.
7.
Attach cable and controller to the DSIM-SG, the controller light should be solid blue
indicating manual mode (if not press mode button until it is).
8.
Press mode button once. The controller light will flash blue and red for approximately
45 seconds.
9.
When done the controller light will have a half second blue blink indicating that the
DSIM-SG is in AGC mode.
10. Remove the interface cable from the amplifier, and the DSIM-SG is all set.
