Printer Does Not Print

Make sure printer is turned on.
Check1
If not, make sure the printer is securely plugged in and press the ON button to turn on.
The ON lamp flashes while the printer is initializing. Wait until the ON lamp stops flashing and remains lit.

• If you are printing large data such as photos or other graphics, printing may take longer to start. The ON
lamp flashes while the computer is processing data and sending it to the printer. Wait until printing starts.
Make sure printer is properly connected to computer.

Make sure the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer. When the USB cable is
securely plugged in, check the following:
• If you are using a relay device such as a USB hub, disconnect it, connect the printer directly to the
computer, and retry the printing. If printing starts normally, there is a problem with the relay device. Contact
the vendor of the relay device.
• There could also be a problem with the USB cable. Replace the USB cable and retry the printing.
Make sure paper size specified when printing matches paper size registered in
Check3
your printer.
If the paper settings specified when printing differ from the paper size registered in the printer, an error will occur.
If the paper size registered in the printer is larger than the paper size specified when printing, press the OK
button on the printer to print.
If the error is not canceled even if you press the OK button, press the Stop button to stop printing, make the
paper sizes match, and then try printing again.
If printing from a computer, delete unnecessary print jobs.

Is your printer's printer driver selected when printing?
