8.3 Playing music

8.3.1 Music quality

Your music listening experience on the media player depends upon the quality of
the digital music files on your PC. Avoid quality settings below 48 kbit/s, as they are
not supported by the ACTIVY Media Player 150. For near CD-quality music, rip your
MP3s at 128 kbit/s or higher, with a sample rate of 44.1 kHz.

See list of supported music formats in the technical specification at the end of this
manual.

8.3.3 Playing a track

Once you enter the Music menu, there are several ways that you can view tracks.
You can view all tracks, playlists, tracks by genre, artist, album or folder name,
depending on the media server used. Use the selection arrows on the remote
control to navigate to the track which you wish to play. Once you have located the
desired track, highlight it and press OK or PLAY on the remote. The track will begin
playing on your stereo speakers or TV.
Note:
The categories displayed vary from server to server!
In Menu, select the first option My Servers, then
choose the server you wish to access.
To play a track:

Select the Music (Musik) category.
