- Page 2 RDT-A7.0 Installation Guide RDT-A7.0 System Installation Guide This guide provides instructions for installing the Command Alkon Incorporated Ruggedized Driver Tablet (RDT)-A7.0 system in vehicles using TrackIt. When the RDT-A7.0 is combined with the OBC317, the system provides functionality for comprehensive data and tracking features with wireless communication and ruggedized tablet display.

Because the RDT-A7.0 only connects via wireless network, the OBC317 is a requirement for the installation. Connecting the RDT-A7.0 to the OBC Mounting the RDT-A7.0 Before fastening the RAM mount to the vehicle dash and installing the RDT-A7.0, refer to Installation Warnings.
- Page 6 RDT-A7.0 Installation Guide Because all vehicles differ, the screws and washers required for securing the mount to the vehicle's dash are not included with the kit, and the installer will need to choose screws and washers that best fit the vehicle and mount.
- Page 7 RDT-A7.0 Installation Guide Connect the RDT-A7.0 to the OBC The RDT-A7.0 and OBC will need to be connected via cable and wifi. To connect the RDT-A7.0 to the OBC 1. Ensure the 44 D-Sub High Density Connector (HD-44) that is part of the OBCPIGOCTO is connected to the OBC device.

Therefore, the Android tablet will not attempt to connect to the OBC until the user attempts to log in.
