Turn on Bluetooth of the mobile equipment and scan for D180. By default, the device name of D180 is PAX D180_XXXX, and XXXX are the last 4 letters of the Bluetooth MAC address of D180, please notice that the device name may be modified according to user requirement.

4.3 Card Readers 4.3.1 Smart Card Reader Figure 5 Insert smart card When inserting smart card into its slot, the chip of smart card must be faced up. In order to avoid any physical damage to the card or the smart card slot of the terminal, it is recommended to insert the card gently.

5 Product Services 5.1 FAQ Startup Q: What should I do if the terminal does not start? A: Answer: First, check whether the battery is still charging. The terminal may not be able to start when the battery is exhausted. If you plug the device into a power adapter and the charging indicator does not light up, please check the power adapter to see if it is operating normally.

Q: What should I do if the smart card reader is not working? A: First check to see if the smart card has been inserted fully and oriented properly, the proper use of the smart card reader is outlined in Figure 8 . Also check the metallic contacts on the smart card for signs or corrosion or other damage and attempt to use another card to determine whether the problem is a defective card.

Q: What should I do if there are errors while using the USB port? A: The USB cable of D180 can only charge but not communicate, so use a third-party USB cable. Do not use an USB hub, directly attach the cable to whatever device is being linked.

Other problems Q: What should I do if there appears to be damage to the tamper proof label? A: Damage to the tamper proof label may indicate damages to the device itself,. Immediately return the device to the supplier, the device safe to use only after it has been properly tested.
