Adjust the vo lume balance between the speakers in the sys-
tem by actually listening to them. See page 39 fo r details.

The speaker vo lume adjustment display appears and

0 dB" displayed) . Listen to the vo lume o f the no ise
carefully.

When the test no ise mo ves to the center speaker and
" C 0 dB" is displayed, adjust the vo lume to the same
level as the fro nt left speaker by pressing the
CONTROL

Similarly, adjust the vo lumes o f the " R" ( fro nt right) ,
" SR" ( surro und right) , " SBR" ( surro und back right) ,
" SBL" ( surro und back left) and " SL" ( surro und left)
speakers.
Do no t adjust the " SW" ( Subwo o fer) vo lume using
the test no ise. It sho uld be adjusted while listening
to o rdinary music.

Radio statio ns can be preset in the memo ry in the receiver
and recalled by a o ne-to uch o peratio n.
The memo ry in the receiver canno t sto re the statio n names.
To sto re the statio n names, use the Po werTo uch. ( Fo r de-
tails, see " Sto ring Radio Statio ns in Memo ry ( o ptio nal) " o n
page 41.)
Sto ring RDS Statio ns Auto matically:
1. Press the
INPUT SELECTOR ¤

the Tuner input.
2. Press the
BAND
butto n to select the FM band.
3. Press and ho ld the
MEMORY
butto n fo r mo re than 2
seco nds. The receiver lo cates and sto res any FM statio ns
bro adcasting an RDS signal. This pro cess can take a few
minutes to co mplete; please be patient. While the re-
ceiver is searching, "AUTO MEMO RY" display blinks.
