1 Deck A
This deck is used exclusively for play-
back.
2 REV.M ODE key
Press to change the tape transport di-
rection.
3 DOLBY NR key
Press to sw itch the Dolby Noise Reduc-
tion mode to B = C = OFF . This makes
it possible to use the Dolby NR effect in
recording and playback.
4 CCRS key
Press to start recording after automatic
setting of the optimum CD recording
level and optimum tape recording bias.
5 DUBB. keys (NORM ./HIGH)
Press to start tape dubbing.

: Dubbing at a high speed.
6 O.T.E. key
Press to use the O.T.E. (One Touch
Editing) function w hich allow s to record
CD on tape w ith a one-touch operation.
7 Deck B
This deck is capable of both playback
and recording.
Standby mode
While the STANDBY indicator of this unit is lit, a small amount of current is supplied to back up the internal memory of this unit.
This status is referred to as the standby mode of the unit. (The STANDBY indicator can light only w hen this unit is system-
connected w ith a system control cord. In the standby mode, this unit can be turned ON from the remote control unit of the
system-controlled component.)

When this unit is system-connected
through a system control cord, pressing

the 2 or 3 key w hile a cassette tape is
loaded turns ON the system automati-
cally and starts playback of the cassette
deck.
9 Deck A eject (0) button
Press to open the cassette holder of
deck A.
0 RESET A key
Press to reset the tape counter of deck
A to "0000" .
! RESET B key
Press to reset the tape counter of deck
B to "0000" .

Press to turn this unit ON and OFF .
