Infrared ray system
Use of the SHIFT key
When a key corresponding to the SHIFT function is pressed w ithin 5 seconds of pressing the SHIFT
key ("S" flashes on the display), a different function from the normal function w ill operate.
For example, w hen the REPEAT (SLOW) key is pressed after the SHIFT key, SLOW operation mode
w ill be reached. While the "S" indication is flashing, operation of the SHIFT function is possible
w ithout pressing the SHIFT key.
Loading batteries
1 Remove the cover.
Operation
Plug the pow er cord into the mains pow er outlet and
press the on/ standby (
control unit to turn pow er ON. After the pow er has been
turned ON, press the desired key.
To turn pow er off, press the on/ standby (
key again.
÷ When pressing more than one remote control keys succes-
sively, press the keys securely by leaving an interval of 1
second or more betw een keys.
1. The provided batteries are intended for use in operation checking, and their service life m ay be short.
2. W hen the rem ote controllable distance becom es short, replace both of the batteries w ith new ones.

3. If direct sunlight or the light of a high- frequency fluorescent lam p (inverter type, etc.) is incident to the rem ote sensor, m alfunction
m ay occur. In such a case, change the installation position to avoid m alfunction.
