• A properly installed outdoor antenna provides clearer reception than an indoor one. If you experience poor reception quality, install an outdoor antenna. FM/AM tuning Selecting the Radio Data System program type (PTY SEEK mode) Use this feature to select the desired FM radio program by program type. You can use this feature for the FM radio programs providing the Radio Data System information signals.
Press SELECT on the front panel (or remote control) to confirm the selection of the program type. Rotate PRESET/TUNING (or press TUNING k / n) to start searching for the corresponding Radio Data System stations. This unit starts searching for the Radio Data System stations corresponding to the selected program type.

Troubleshooting Problem FM stereo reception is noisy. There is distortion, and clear reception cannot be obtained even with a good FM antenna. The desired station cannot be tuned into with the automatic tuning method. Previously preset stations can no longer be tuned into.
