A Takeuchi TB260 excavator shutting down at high RPM but running fine at lower speeds could be caused by engine overheating. According to the manual, signs of overheating include the water temperature gauge reaching the red zone, engine power decreasing, and steam coming from the engine room. If the engine overheats, it may shut down to prevent damage. Checking for cooling system issues, such as low coolant levels or a malfunctioning radiator, could help identify and resolve the problem.

The oil pressure warning lamp on the Takeuchi TB260 may be on even after changing the oil and ensuring the level is full because there could still be a problem in the engine lubrication system. If the lamp continues to flash despite the oil level being normal or after replenishing oil or coolant, it is recommended to consult a sales or service dealer for further assistance.

On a 2021 TB260 my selector switch on the right hand joy stick is not working. I **** only able to travel in turtle mode. What could be the cause. Also can I get a wiring diagram to show how this switch is wired so I can trace the wiring as I may have a rat that may have damaged my wiring?
Need help?
