Thank you for purchasing the LINDY USB 2.0 Adapter for
Active Optical Cables. By using this adapter you can connect
USB 3.0 as well as USB 2.0 devices to our USB 3.0 Active
Optical Cables 42683, 42684, 42685 and 42696.

Installation
Connect this adapter to the USB 3.0 Active Optical Cable (i.e.
42683, 42684, 42685, 42696) using the USB A male to male
cable. Connect the USB 3.0 Type A plug of the AOC cable to
your host computer´s USB 3.0 port. Then connect your USB 2.0
device or hub to the USB A female port of the USB 2.0 Adapter.
Finally attach the external power supply to the USB 3.0 AOC
Cable and also to the USB 2.0 adapter, if you attach a bus-
powered device.

Einführung
Vielen Dank für den Kauf dieses USB 2.0 Adapters für
optische USB 3.0 Kabel. Durch den Anschluss dieses
Adapters wird es möglich, USB 3.0 und auch USB 2.0 Geräte
an den optischen USB 3.0 Kabeln 42683, 42684, 42685 und
42696 zu betreiben. Die Datentransferraten der USB 3.0
Geräte sind dabei entsprechend
angeschlossenen USB 2.0 Devices.

Installation
Schließen Sie diesen Adapter mit dem beiligenden USB A

3.0 Port Ihres Host-Computers und verbinden Sie Ihr USB 2.0
Device/Hub mit der USB A Buchse. Zum Schluss schliessen
Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil am optischen USB 3.0 Kabel an.
Falls das USB Device, das Sie anschliessen, über keine
eigene Stromversorgung verfügt, schliessen Sie bitte auch an
den Adapter das beiliegende Netzteil an.
