    INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS Main switch The main switch controls the ignition and lighting systems. The various main switch positions are described below. All electrical systems are supplied with power, and the headlight, meter light- ing, taillight and position lights come on, and the engine can be started.

    MOTORCYCLE CARE AND STORAGE Care While the open design of a motorcycle reveals the attractiveness of the tech- nology, it also makes it more vulnera- ble. Rust and corrosion can develop even if high-quality components are used. A rusty exhaust pipe may go un- noticed on a car, however, it detracts from the overall appearance of a motor- cycle.
