13. When filling the boiler, only water should be used – other cleaning agents could damage
unit or cause injury. Distilled or de-mineralized water is highly recommended, in order to
minimize potential build-up of mineral deposits. Do not fill with more than 40 oz. (1 200 ml)
of water.
14. To avoid burns from escaping steam when removing boiler cap to refill unit:
• Always allow unit to cool for 20 minutes before opening it.
• Press and hold steam trigger to release ALL remaining steam.
15. To reduce risk of contact with hot water or condensation emitting from steam hose, check
appliance before each use by positioning it away from body and turning it on. Do not oper-
ate unit if steam hose is blocked.
16. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, accessories, hot water, or steam. Do not
touch steam hose lance or attempt to connect accessories while unit is in use. Do not touch
bottom of floor tool or attempt to attach a microfiber pad by hand while unit is in use. Use
caution when you turn unit upside down – there may be hot water in the boiler.
17. Use caution when using unit on uneven surfaces, such as stairs.
18. When steaming any surface for the first time, it is recommended that you consult the
manufacturer's guidelines for material being steamed. For items in question, test on an
inconspicuous area before proceeding.
19. Steaming unsealed hardwood or unglazed ceramic surfaces is not recommended, and may
result in warping or damage to the surface. Steam may remove the sheen from surfaces
treated with wax.
20. When steam mopping, never leave unit resting in one spot on any surface for any period of
time – prolonged exposure to heat and moisture may damage floor surfaces.
21. Do not allow power cord to touch hot surfaces during use. Secure the cord on the cord wrap
when storing.
22. Always allow the steam cleaner to cool completely (at least 30 minutes) and empty the
boiler before storing. Do not store unit with a damp microfiber pad still attached.

The provided context does not mention any restrictions on using the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner on porcelain bathroom tiles. However, it advises checking the Manufacturer’s Guidelines and User Manual before using it on delicate surfaces. Since porcelain tiles are generally durable and resistant to heat, the steam cleaner should be safe to use, but it is best to verify with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

If your Dupray Neat steam cleaner tripped the circuit breaker and is now unusable, follow these steps:

1. Check the Circuit Load – Ensure that no other high-wattage appliances are running on the same circuit as the steam cleaner to prevent overload.
2. Reset the Breaker – Locate your electrical panel and reset the tripped breaker.
3. Inspect the Power Cord – Make sure the power cord is not damaged and is properly plugged into the outlet.
4. Avoid Water Exposure – Ensure the unit has not been exposed to water or other liquids, which could cause electrical issues.
5. Test on a Different Outlet – Plug the unit into a different outlet to rule out issues with the original circuit.
6. Do Not Disassemble – If the unit still does not work, do not attempt to open or repair it yourself. Contact Dupray Customer Service for further assistance.

These steps help prevent electrical hazards and ensure safe operation of your steam cleaner.

The Dupray Neat steam cleaner needs to be refilled with water when it stops producing steam. If the unit is heated and the button on the wand is pressed but no steam comes out, it may be out of water. Before refilling, ensure the steamer is turned off and unplugged.
