Time settings

You can change time settings to suit your preferences. You can find the following settings by
navigating from the Home screen menu to Settings > System > Time:
Sleep timer – Set a time delay after which the TV will automatically shut off. This setting
reflects the setting you can make in the Options menu from any TV input, as explained
in
Options menu
Note: The sleep timer setting is not input specific, and also can be set by using the
Sleep timer shortcut in the Home screen grid.
Time zone – Correct time zone information is needed to correctly display program data.
Choose whether to set the time zone automatically or manually, and if set manually,
select your current time zone. Usually, a TV connected to the Internet can discover its
own time zone automatically, but sometimes a TV that is not connected to the Internet
cannot and so must be set manually. Initially, this setting is made when you set up the TV
tuner, as explained in
Clock format – Choose whether to display time in a 12-hour or 24-hour format, or to turn
off time display. This setting is available only on TVs that are connected to the Internet.
Non-connected TVs do not display the time.

The Philips Roku TV offers different sound modes, including Sonic Emotion™ Premium and Volume modes (Leveling and Night).

- Sonic Emotion™ Premium provides advanced audio settings such as Dialog Enhancement (improves speech clarity), Bass Enhancement (boosts low frequencies), and Absolute 3D Sound (simulates surround sound).
- Volume modes include Leveling (maintains consistent volume across content) and Night (amplifies soft sounds while reducing loud sounds for nighttime viewing).

There is no mention of a Delta Volume mode in the given context. If you want enhanced surround sound and dialog clarity, Sonic Emotion™ Premium is the better choice. If you need consistent volume or quieter night-time audio, the Volume modes are more suitable.

To change channels on a Philips Roku TV remote:

1. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to scroll through available channels.
2. If using a universal remote, ensure it supports direct channel number entry, as some may not.
3. For over-the-air (OTA) channels, make sure they have been scanned into the TV before attempting to switch between them.

If your remote does not support number entry, you may need to scroll manually through the channel list.
