It has stopped running. Tried unplugging and waiting, and replugging.

The EZ Breathe 400 may have stopped running because the outdoor humidity levels are above 50% during times when neither heating nor air conditioning is being used, as it is recommended to turn the unit off in such conditions. Alternatively, it could be due to settings or operational issues, such as the humidistat being improperly adjusted.

Like any appliance that evacuates air outside the building envelope (such a an EZ Breathe unit, range hood, bathroom fan, clothes dryer, etc.) a negative pressure is created inside the building. As the pressure inside the building gets lower than the barometric pressure outside, there is a remote chance that some exhaust fumes may be drawn in.
  • Page 8 10% of our customers may need to run a dehumidifier in conjunction with the EZ Breathe. This is because the EZ Breathe relies on a source of air that is below 50% humidity. When you aren’t air conditioning or heating, your upstairs humidity may not be in the target range.
