- Page 7 INTRODUCTION Read this user manual completely before using the device. In the appendices you will find the technical specifications of the pure sine wave power inverters. This DC-AC inverter converts a 12 or a 24 Volts DC voltage into a AC voltage with a pure sine wave (100-127V/220-240VAC).
- Page 8 - The distance between inverter and battery should be as short as possible, but place the inverter in a separate room. - Place the inverter on a stable underground and prevent (heavy) vibrations and shocks. 4.2 Connection with the battery Important - Before connecting to the battery, make sure that the inverter is turned off.
- Page 9 Grounding The AC output ground wire should be connected with the grounding point for the connected equipment. Also wire the ‘ground’ connection on the inverter with the chassis of the vehicle or the minus (6mmq wire). 4.3 Connection with the equipment All inverters from the FS&NK series have a socket for the connection of the 110/230VAC equipment.
- Page 10 4.4 The inverter in combination with other AC power supplies In many situations it is desirable that the equipment will work on the mains supply (or generator) when this is available. The inverter and mains supply (or generator) then become one circuit.
- Page 11 4.5 Insulation monitoring Is this inverter being mounted in a vehicle of any other mobile or movable unit? And is the 110/230VAC going to be used outside the vehicle/unit? Then please pay attention to the following: Important! If this inverter is used in mobile unities, like mobile workplaces, fire trucks, workmen’s huts etc, it is usually difficult to get a good and reliable safety connection to earth.

- Page 25 INSTALLATION 4.1 Montage Der Wechselrichter muss in einem Raum montiert werden, wobei Folgendes zu berücksichtigen ist: - Bringen Sie den Wechselrichter an einem trockenen Ort an, wo er vor Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz geschützt ist. Achten Sie auch darauf, dass Feuchtigkeit oder Schmutz vom Ventilator nicht angesaugt werden können.
- Page 26 Verwenden Sie vorzugsweise den mitgelieferten Kabelsatz. Wenn Sie wünschen, dass dieser Inverter eine feste Verbindung mit dem Akku hat, sollten Sie diese Klemmen beispielsweise durch Kabelösen ersetzen. Bei den übrigen Modellen erfolgt der Anschluss mit dem Akku bereits mit Kabelösen. Bei den Modellen FS2500&NK2500 und FS3000&NK3000 werden zwei rote und zwei schwarze Kabel mitgeliefert.
- Page 27 4.3 Anschluss an Verbraucher Alle Wechselrichter der PurePower-Serie verfügen über eine geerdete Steckdose zum Anschluss der 110/230-VAC-Geräte. Die Modelle ab 1500 Watt haben zwei Steckdosen. Beim Anschließen mehrerer Verbraucher ist es wichtig, dass die Gesamtlast und die (Start-) Spitzen im Rahmen der Leistungsgrenzen des Wechselrichters bleiben. Wichtig Wenn die maximale Spitzenlast überschritten wird, kann der Wechselrichter beschädigt werden.

Anschließend kann der Wechselrichter mit dem Schalter auf der Fernbedienung ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden. Bei einer möglichen Fehlermeldung leuchtet die LED "fault". 5.7 Lüfter Der Lüfter ist belastungs- und temperaturgesteuert. Bei einem bestimmten Belastungsniveau wird der Lüfter je nach Modell automatisch eingeschaltet.
- Page 32 6.2 Unterspannungsabschaltung Wenn Eingangsspannung nach Vorwarnung noch weiter sinkt, wird Unterspannungsabschaltung aktiviert. Der 230-VAC-Ausgang wird abgeschaltet und die rote "Fault"-LED leuchtet auf. Das akustische Signal ertönt weiterhin.
