    The assembly of the system should follow the guidelines from this manual, or its components can be destroyed or damaged if installed improbably. NB! The kit is designed for bikes with 138mm chain stay and the bottom part must be 124,5mm.

    Installation guide of retrofit system Bike before conversion Start by removing the rear wheel from your bike. Disassemble the gears from the wheel. NB! Casette locktool & chain whip is required.

  • Page 8 Install the gears in the right order (40nm) NB! Casette locktool is re- quired. Measure the length between the rear stays, if the length is shorter than 135-138mm, the rear motor won´t fit the bike.
  • Page 9 Mount the rear wheel to the frame with a M10 nut (40nm) OBS! Lock- washer needs to be installed from the inside before the nut is tightened. Locate the mounting point for the carrier. Reuse the screws or use 5x12 hex bolt with washer when mounting the carrier.
  • Page 10 NB! The installation of the hollow tech sensor can be reviewed on page “17” Mount the speed sensor by pressing it gently by hand. NB! A rubber hammer can also be used without force. Bottom bracket axel must be 124,5 mm.
  • Page 11 Connect the speed sensor to the controller. NB! The connecting wire has a notch which should be lined up with the plug. Take the extension wire for the motor and connect these together. NB! The arrows on the wire must line up before connecting them.

  • Page 13 Mount the display NB! The display is mounted by sliding it onto the handlebar. Removing the grip and brake lever is a must! Take the extension wire for the display and connect these together. NB! The arrows on the wires must line up before connecting them.
  • Page 14 Guide the display wire towards the carrier and connect it to the controller Ziptie the display wire with the brake cable or use the spiral tape for an OEM look. Ziptie the display wire with included cable guide.
  • Page 15 Ziptie the motor wire along the chain stay. Ziptie all the wires towards the carrier. NB! Wire to be firm against the seat tube. Any excess wires can be rolled up in a bundle or be hidden under the bottom bracket.

  • Page 18 It is recommened to adjust the sensor with the spacer before mounting the speed sensor to the bottom bracket thread hole. The space between the sensor and the ring must be 2mm. Install the sensor on the chain side with the sensor pointing downwards.

    Display The display is operable by 3 buttons from the left side of the handlebar. Note that the indicator may fluctuate depending on driving whether you are driving uphill, accelerating or driving downhill. Error codes are intergrated to the display and is displayed by error codes. The button can be used to switch between various functions, such as trip counter, travel time and speed.

    Troubleshooting If an error code is displayed instead of speed, this indicates that the system has detected an error. The error code indicates which error is involved. Error code Error Solution Motor error If the motor has a plug, please check if the plug is in.

    The optimal charging environment would be at 20 °C. NB! The batteri must be supervised and charged in dry enviroment, preferable in a place equipped with a fire alarm.

    Disposing of battery Batteries contain substances that can be harmful to human health and the environment if not handled properly. Batteries are marked with the crossed-out garbage. It symbolizes that wasted batteries must not be disposed of with normal household waste but must be collected separately.
  • Page 26 Charging with the removed battery • Turn off the power and remove the battery. • Connect the 4-pin connector from the charger to the battery charging points. • Set network socket (100-240 v) into the power outlet and switch on the charger. Red LED lights when it is charging.
  • Page 27: Transportation Of Electric Bike

    Before transporting your electric bike, remove the battery and cover the bike for any humid weather conditions. NB! The battery should not be stored in any enviroment, that exceed the temperatur of -10 °C or 60 °C. It is also recommend that the battery is kept out of direct sunlight.
