ICEMAKER INSTALLATION
This refrigerator is equipped for installation of a compatible automatic ice-maker.
An
Ice maker Model:
IM11600 Frigidaire/Electrolux
Remove a protective cover before connecting the wire of the ice machine in the box.
Tools Required:
•1/4 inch copper supply line with shut off valve
•1/4 inch brass compression nut and ferrule
•Freezer shelf If your model does not have one, contact your dealer to order one.
The copper tubing and shut off valve are available in a kit from your local hardware or plumbing
supply store. Coil enough tubing at the back of the unit to allow movement for cleaning.
Unplug the refrigerator .To eliminate the danger of electric shock during installation, you
must unplug the refrigerator from its electrical outlet.

Remove ice tray rack from freezer. Move the freezer shelf to the next position. - Page 3 Slide the hose through the hole of the security bracket and the foam insulation pad, with the pad facing the rear of the refrigerator and affix the hose security bracket and foam insulation pad in place using the two (2) screws provided. Push the water supply hose into the water inlet hose as far as it will go and tighten the Nylon compression nut onto the water inlet hose until it is secure/tight.
- Page 4 Adjust the leveling bracket to ensure the ice maker assembly is totally level. The ice maker will be level when the gap between the freezer wall and the ice maker assembly is the same at the top and bottom. Once completely level, tighten the leveling bracket screw. Reinstall the freezer shelf below the ice maker assembly.

CONNECTING ICE MAKER TO WATER SUPPLY Unplug the refrigerator . To eliminate the danger of electric shock during installation, you must unplug the refrigerator from its electrical outlet. IMPORTANT: Ensure that your water supply line connections comply with all local plumbing codes. Before Installing the Water Supply Line, You Will Need: •Basic tools: adjustable wrench, flat blade screwdriver, and Phillips TM screwdriver. - Page 6 plumbing lines may cause ice maker to cycle two or three times before making a full tray of ice. New plumbing may cause ice to be discolored or have poor flavor. Discard ice made during the first 24 hours.
