To enable Google Assistant to make phone calls or send text messages on the Alcatel MY FLIP 2, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the Center Soft Key to activate Google Assistant.
2. To make a call:
- Say “Call [contact name]” to call a saved contact.
- Say “Call [phone number]” to dial a specific number.
3. To send a text message:
- Say “Send a text to [contact name]” to compose and send a message.

Google Assistant will then process your command and perform the requested action.

The context does not provide direct instructions for turning off the external speaker on the Alcatel MY FLIP 2. However, you can try lowering the volume using the Volume Keys or muting the ringtone during an incoming call. Additionally, check the device's sound settings under "Settings" to see if there is an option to disable the external speaker.

The symbols next to contacts on the Alcatel MY FLIP 2 indicate different functions related to contacts. The button labeled for contacts allows users to scroll through their contact list. Additionally, navigation buttons (such as the ring around the OK button) help users move up and down through the list. The symbols may also represent options like editing, deleting, or calling a contact.
