Before you move your refrigerator into its final location, it is important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection.
  • Page 11 EVELING AND DOOR ALIGNMENT If the refrigerator is not leveled during installation, the doors may not close or seal properly, causing cooling, frost, or moisture problems. It is very important for the refrigerator to be level in order to function properly. Move the refrigerator into its final position.

Give your refrigerator time to cool down completely before adding food. It is best to wait 24 hours before adding food. The settings indicated should be correct for normal household refrigerator usage. The controls are set correctly when milk or juice is as cold as you like and when ice cream is firm.

    DJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE FOR THE CONVERTIBLE MEAT VEGETABLE DRAWER Cold air flows from the freezer into the drawer. This helps keep the drawer colder than the rest of the refrigerator for better storage of meats. Slide the control from side to side to let more or less cold air through.

    EMOVING THE ICE BIN (on some models) There are several reasons why you may need to remove, empty, and clean the ice bin. • The ice dispenser has not, or will not, be used for a week or more. • A power failure causes the ice in the bin to melt and freeze together.
