Centralized Drainage
1. Install main air vent in front of the farthest indoor unit from the main drain when more than three indoor units are
connected to the a common drain pipe.
2. Individual air vents may need to be installed to prevent water flow back at the top of each indoor unit drain pipe.

Testing Drainage
You should test the drainage after completing the installation.
Prepare a bottle of water.
1. Open the cover.
2. Pour water into the drain pan inside an air outlet.
3. Operate the unit in the Cool mode and make sure the condensate pump operates.
4. Check drain water discharge at the end of the drain pipe.

5. Make sure there is no water leakage.
6. When the test is finished, close the cover.
• When servicing the air conditioner, remove condensate water in the drain pan by removing the drain pan
plug.
