7. Trouble-Shooting

Fault
Not able to open the
Water Timer manually
using On / Off
Watering not initiated
Valves do not close
Battery flat after working
for a short time
In the event of other faults please contact GARDENA Service.
Repairs should only be carried out by GARDENA service centres or dealers

Possible cause
Battery capacity too low
(2 LED s flash).
Tap turned off.
Control knob turned to
Frequency or On / Off.
Battery capacity too low
2 LEDs flash).
Data input / changes made
while the program was starting
or immediately before.
Tap turned off.
No hose attached to outlet.
The battery you inserted
is not an alkaline battery.
Remedy
v Insert a new alkaline
battery.
v Turn on tap.
v Turn the control knob to
"Run Time Minutes".
v Insert a new alkaline
battery.
v Input data or make changes
before or after the starting
times you have chosen.
v Turn on tap.
v Attach hose with consumer.
v Use an alkaline battery.
