Tips to avoid scale
Nevertheless your humidifier and ionizer includes
w ater softering filer we strongly recommend you to
use cold boiled, filtered or distilled w ater. Make sure
that the w ater temperature is lower 40°C. Clean the
tank cover, the water tank, the steam generator and
the w ater basin every w eek. Use cleanign brush
w hich is added. Fill the w ater tank w ith fresh water
every time you use the humidifier.
Clean all parts of the humidifier, empty the water tank
and the w ater basin and dry all parts with a soft, dry
cloth when you are not going to use your humidifier
for a long time
Descaling the humidifier
1. Disconnect the humidifier and set the on/off
knob to 'off'.
2. Fill the w ater basin with 100ml of vinegar (4%
acetic acid) per 200ml of w ater and let is soak
for at least four hours.
So leave the w ater and vinegar in the w ater
basin for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
3. Empty the w ater basin and wipe it also w ith a
soft cloth.
4. Put some w hite vinegar 4% acetic acid also on
the steam generator and then w ipe it aw ay wi t h
a moist cloth.
5. Wash all other parts w ith clean w ater.
Changing filters
There are tw o filters in your appliance.
First one is called filter for w ater softening and is
attached to the lid of w ater tank. That filter makes
w ater softer and minimizes formation of w ater
scale into humidifier.
Second filter is called active carbon filer and is
located on the bottom of appliance w here air
comes into humidifier. That filters removes dust
and other small paricles from the air.
To achieve best possible results of humidifying
and ionizing w e strongly recommend you to
replace both filters each six months. That w ay you
w ill also extend life of your appliance.
Environment
Do not throw away the appliance w ith the normal
household w aste at the end of its life, but hand it in
at an official collection point for recycling. By doing
this, you help to preserve the environment.
