Set Up the Hemocytometer Step
The histogram in the upper right provides distribution of fluorescence intensity
values (X-axis, Signal) for the set of cells (Y-axis, Count) on the left (white histogram
bars) and right (red histogram bars) side of the hemocytometer for the selected
channel. The overlapping histogram bars appear pink.
In the example shown, the histogram shows that most of the cells on the right side of
the hemocytometer (red) exhibit a value of fluorescence intensity of 12,000 and that
all the cells on that side are within a range of fluorescence intensity between 7,000
and 31,000.
