- Page 4 Insert pedestal lock pin into hanger bracket assembly slot. Secure with (2) hex head bolts. Pinch spring together and slide over until center of spring is above pencil mark on actuator rod guide. While adjustment is being made, make sure lock tab is parallel to side of pedestal. Remove hanger bracket assembly from pedestal and re-assemble back onto underside of worksurface and tighten attaching screws.
- Page 5 If your unit has a back panel please refer to Steelcase Installation Direction 93-9501201-E. Position pedestal hanger bracket tight against unit end panel. Punch a 1/8” dia. hole into worksurface support with an awl. Secure in place with (1) screw.
- Page 6 Hook back of pedestal over pedestal hanger bracket flange. Slowly let front of pedestal down making sure back tabs engage into slots in pedestal hanger bracket. Insert pedestal lock pin, into slot in pedestal hanger bracket assembly. Secure pedestal to worksurface with (2) hex head bolts. Turn unit upright, make any adjustments to lock by turning rod adjuster clockwise or PEDESTAL counter clockwise.
