This will confirm that IR can pass from MHUB to your display successfully. Both remote controls are limited to video switching operations only. HDANYWHERE does not recommend that these remote controls are used as a primary controlling device for MHUB (see section: “MHUB control methods”).

HDANYWHERE recommends using suitably robust and good quality HDMI cables. It is not advised to use passive HDMI cables over 5 metres in length either on the inputs or the outputs of MHUB or its display receivers.

ARC access, executing Sequences and mute states in all zones. uControl communicates over the same Local Area Network (LAN) as your MHUB which allows for global control over the entire system regardless of what zone you are in. In the absence of a third-party control system, HDANYWHERE recommends uControl as the method to control your MHUB on a daily basis.

Stacking: creating a Video & Audio (V&A) system MHUB PRO 2.0 is a ‘stackable’ system meaning that it can be added to MHUB AUDIO (6x4) or any MHUB audio enabled device. When you create a system comprised of a video MHUB and an audio MHUB then we refer to this as a V&A system. System stacking is covered in more detail in audio enabled MHUB user guides. This section serves to provide a brief explanation of terminology and basic composition of a stacked system.

Power up This section describes the power up process for MHUB PRO 2.0, operating in standalone mode (by itself). If you are creating a V&A/stack system then please consult the MHUB AUDIO (6x4) manual for detailed instructions. Avoid using uControl until MHUB has been connected to the local network and the system is powered on. Ensure that all devices are turned off.

Completing setup in uControl will teach the MHUB what inputs are connected to it and where the outputs are located throughout your property (zones). Additionally, it will grant you access to MHUB-OS for advanced management of your MHUB and, should you wish, connect MHUB to HDANYWHERE’ s online services (HDA Cloud) to register your unit, extend your warranty, connect to the uControl service, enable voice control and remote monitoring or management.
