WARNING
The following literature will guide you through servicing and regulating the temperature of your shower valve.

1. Turn off both water supplies to the shower valve.
2. Remove the end cap on the temperature handle,
3. Remove centre retaining screw.
4. Pull the temperature handle off from the cartridge spindle.
5. Once you have removed the temperature handle you will come
to the Temperature stop ring. This will have to be removed carefully. (remember what position it came off in, it
maybe necessary to mark it's position).
6. After taking the temperature stop off the next part you need to remove is the cartridge retaining nut. This is
screwed into a thread on the bar valve. For this you will need to use a 30mm spanner. Unscrew the cartridge
retaining nut anti-clockwise.
7. The cartridge will pull out from the body once the retaining nut has been removed.

vinegar. Leave the cartridge to soak for approximately 4 hours,

8. Apply silicon grease (sp-495-0002) with clean hands around all visible black seals as shown
opposite, and avoid contact with foreign objects to keep it clean until refitted. Insert the
cartridge back into the bar shower valve.
Note: Only use silicon grease to grease seals.

9 Screw the retaining nut back onto the valve body to hold the cartridge in place.
10. Replace the temperature stop ring (in the position in which it came off).
11. Replace the handle, centre retaining screw and the end cap.
