The operator must have adequate training for this type of platform. The Ecolift is fitted with a safety harness point. The Ecolift can be loaded via a forklift, tail-lift, or winch. Never push the Ecolift up a slope without the aid of a winch. If using a forklift, raise the Ecolift by approximately 50 - 100mm so that Loading the front wheel brakes engage. - Page 15 It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure safe practice is employed in order to access the vehicle bed in order to manoeuvre the Ecolift and then tie it down.
