Section (4-1) and later sections explain how to update the firmware using EOS Utility.
* EOS Utility Ver. 3 is used as an example for the explanation.
(4-1) Connect the camera and the computer.
1. Insert a CF card (or CFast card) that has been formatted in the camera into the camera.
2. Connect the camera and the computer with the USB cable, and then set the camera's power switch to <ON>.
(4-2) Start the firmware update.
1. Start EOS Utility.
2. Click the [Camera settings] button.
3. Click the [Firmware update] button.
