1. Adjust belt guides at the engine transmission pulley.
Facing the engine pulley, locate the left hand guide in a down posi-
tion and the right hand guide in an up position. With the engine
off, clamp the transmission engagement lever down on the handle.
Position the guides in the position described above. Adjust the
guides so that they are no more than 1/4 inch away from the belt
surface when the belt is engaged. Take care that the guide is not
touching the belt.
Rotate left hand guide down.
Move guide so that it is just off surface of belt
when engaged, no more than 1/4 inch.
Rotate right hand guide up.
