Loosen the hexagonal nut (2) with the help of the spanner (1), which is
included in the scope of delivery.

Hold the sawing shaft in position with the locking mandrel.
•
Pull the saw blade clamping flange (3) away from the sawing shaft.
•
Remove the saw blade (4) (Attention! cutting hazard - wear gloves!)

Insert the new saw blade (1) (Attention! Fit the saw blade the right way
round!)
•
Ensure that the holes in the saw blade flange and the holes in the saw
blade (2) line up.
•
Fit the saw blade clamping flange (1) back onto the sawing shaft. Ensure
•
that the journals (2) on the saw blade clamping flange are fed into the holes
in the saw blade.
•
Position the hexagonal nut onto the sawing shaft once again and tighten
this with the spanner again. Hold the sawing shaft in position with the
locking mandrel.
•
Close the protective cover again.
Adjusting the riving knife
The riving knife is an important safety device, which guides the workpie-
ce and prevents the kerf closing behind the saw blade and the workpiece
rebounding. Note the thickness of the riving knife - see numbers stam-
ped into the riving knife. The riving knife must not be thinner than the
body of the saw blade and not thicker than its kerf width.
•
When replacing the saw blade as described, pull the sliding table towards
the operating station, until the riving knife is exposed.
•
When replacing the saw blade as described, open the protective cover with
both hands.
•
Loosen the screw (1) on the riving knife (2) with the spanner (3).
