- Page 1 L.L.Bean Platform Bed Thank you for purchasing our Platform Bed. Assembly of this product requires Phillips and flat head screwdrivers. We have found it helpful to have a second person present in at least one step of the assembly.
- Page 2 PARTS STEP 1 Read through these instructions thoroughly before beginning assembly. We have found this to be of great value when first assembling this product. STEP 2 Remove all parts and hardware from packing material. Wooden pieces should be placed on a non-abrasive surface (like the carton or carpet) to prevent damage to the finish.
- Page 3 STEP 7 There are two holes drilled on each edge of the headboard panel. Place a dowel in the lower (and slightly larger) hole on each side. There are two holes drilled on each edge of the headboard brace. Place a dowel in the lower (and slightly larger) hole on each side.
- Page 4 STEP 14 Line up the end of one rail (finished side out) with the pre-drilled holes in the headboard (finished side with the wood button facing towards the rail). Insert a bolt through each hole so that it screws into the barrel nut in the rail.
