To reset the Bose Smart Soundbar 300, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the soundbar from the Bose app:
- Open the app and go to your profile.
- Navigate to "Manage Products."
- Find your device, click "Edit," select the device, and delete it.

2. Perform the factory reset:
- Press and hold the Play/Pause and Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- The soundbar will reboot and display an amber light.

This should reset the device and may resolve the flashing white light issue.

White light scrolls from left to right. Can't do anything. Unplugged it. When plugged back in, it goes right to scrolling.
