- Page 3 TOOLS REQUIRED Stick rubber pads to the underside of the roof brackets. Secure the roof brackets to the vehicles fixing points using locking clamps, M6x30 hex bolts and M6 flange nuts. The locking clamps have a cut out on the bottom flange which slots into the fixing post. 10MM X 2 13MM X 1 FX4008 (M8) X1...
- Page 4 Tighten the M8 flange nuts to 12Nm. (WITH (WITHOUT ROLLER BRACKET) ROLLER BRACKET) (WITHOUT (WITH ROLLER BRACKET) ROLLER BRACKET) Assemble the side rails together using 1X M8x40 button bolt. Tighten using the Lift the side rails into position. Ensure that the side rails are connected to the roof supplied tool (FX4008).
- Page 5 Adjust the position of the side rails to suit the rear roller. Push on the lever to secure the 3X fixed roof bars into positon. Place the remaining roof bars into position. See page 2 for the recommended distances between the roof bars. Once in position push on the lever to secure in place.
- Page 6 Secure the roller spigot to the left hand roller bracket only using a M8 t bolt Assemble the roller spigot, M8 t bolt (FX4139) and M8 shakeproof washer together. (FX4139) and a M8 shakeproof washer. Ensure that the shakeproof is on the inside Place the assembly into the roller.
- Page 7 Once the product has been fitted check fixings and parts to ensure they have been fully secured and tightened. Check fixings and parts at regular intervals. Any damaged or worn parts must be immediatey removed from the vehicle and replaced. NOTES: Maximum load capacity: 150KG (Including rack weight - please refer to page 2.) (Maximum load must be in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s load bearing capacity.
