5.3 Transferring contacts

Importing contacts from your SIM card

1. Save all your contacts onto the SIM card while the SIM card is
in your old phone.
2. As soon as you insert the SIM card into your new device for the
first time, you will be asked if you want to transfer the contacts
that are stored on the SIM card.
3. Once you've done this, the imported contacts will appear in
the phone book.
4. To import contacts from the SIM card later on, select Menu
_ Contacts _ Phone book _ Import/export contacts
_ Import from SIM card. Tap on the contact you want to
import or open Options and select Import all.
Importing contacts in a VCF file

1. Save all the contacts on your old phone in a VCF file.
2. Transfer the file to your new device on an SD card or via a
Bluetooth connection.
3. Select Import/export contacts _ Import from memory
at the end of the list in the phone book. The VCF file will be
detected automatically and the contacts imported.
