Clearing disc
When a dis k becomes dirt y clean it wit h a clea ning cloth.
Wipe the disc f rom the center out.
Cleaning the d isc lens
After prolonged use, dir tor dust may accumulate at the lens. To ensure good playback quality, cl ean the disc with Philips
CD lens c leaner or any comm ercially available cleane r. Foll ow the instructions suppl ied wit h cleaner.
Cleaning the heads and th e Tap e Parts
To ensure good playback qual ity, clean the heads A , the capstan B,
and pressure roller C after every 50 hours of tape operatio n. Used
a cot ton swab sli ghtly mois tened wit h cleaning fluid or alcohol.
You can also c lean th e head s by p laying a cleaning t ape once.
