    ELEMENT Central Vacuum Systems IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read These Instructions Before Using This Vacuum System Installation of this product should be made by a qualified, authorized central vacuum dealer. Before installing, using, or servicing this product, the installer should carefully read and fully understand the instructions including all warnings, cautions, and safety notice statements.

    Models 1300, 1700, 2300, DB3000, DB5000, DB7000 and DB8000 are for use on a nominal 120 volt circuit and have a grounding plug that looks like the plug in Fig.

    EMPTYING THE DIRT CANISTER & FILTER MAINTENANCE For Inverted Bag Models: 1300, 1700 & 2300 The dirt canister is the removable lower portion of the power unit. Follow These Steps (Refer to figures 1-4) Make sure the power unit is OFF.

    DISPOSABLE BAG MAINTENANCE BAG REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT For Disposable Bag Models: DB3000, DB5000, DB7000, DB8000 & DB9000 The dirt canister is the removable lower portion of the power unit. Follow These Steps (Refer to figures 1-4) Make sure the power unit is OFF. Unlatch and remove the dirt canister.

    • On Models 1300, 1700 & 2300 ONLY: Turn the power switch on the power unit to ON. If the power unit starts, the low voltage wiring, relay or the hose could be causing the issue. If the power unit does not come on, but the light on the power switch is on, you may be experiencing a problem with the motor.
