Page 2 LIEFERUMFANG: Heckteil Rahmenblenden Spritzschutz Distanzscheiben Anschlagbegrenzer Rücklichteinsatz (optional) Blinkereinsätze (optional) Blink-Frequenzgeber (nur bei optionalen Beleuchtungen) Kennzeichnungsaufkleber Gutachten MONTAGEANLEITUNG: Bocken Sie das Fahrzeug so auf, dass es sicher steht und das Hinterrad entlastet ist. Demontieren Sie die Sitzbank und die Seitendeckel sowie die Querstrebe (A). Die Schrauben der Querstrebe werden weiterhin benötigt.
Page 3 Lösen Sie die insgesamt vier TORX-Schrauben, die die Fender Struts mit dem Rahmen verbinden (lassen Sie sich eventuell von einer zweiten Person unterstützen, die den Heckfender festhält). Nehmen Sie den Heckfender ab. Montieren Sie die Anschlagbegrenzer (zwei Stück) an die Kolbenstange des Federbeins. Bauen Sie ggf.
Page 4 Lösen Sie die Schraube an der Unterseite des Innenkotflügels und nehmen Sie diesen heraus. Stecken Sie die Ausschnitte im Spritzschutz auf die Laschen des Innenkotflügels.
Page 5 Montieren Sie den Spritzschuss mit den Originalschrauben der Querstrebe am Rahmen. Richten Sie den Thunderbike Fender mit den beiliegenden Unterlegscheiben zum Hinterrad aus. Notieren Sie sich hierfür, wie viele Scheiben Sie an welcher Stelle positioniert haben. Die Scheiben werden zwischen Rahmen und Fender montiert, es sollten dabei keine Lücken mehr sichtbar sein.
Page 6 Nach den Lackierarbeiten kann der Fender endgültig montiert werden. Befestigen Sie ihn dazu mit den Originalschrauben und den Rahmenblenden, achten Sie dabei auf die zuvor ermittelten, unterlegten Scheiben zwischen Rahmen und Fender. Montieren Sie die Beleuchtungseinrichtungen an den Fender und schließen Sie sie an das Bordnetz an*.

PACKING LIST: Fender Frame covers Rubber splash guard Washers Shock limiter Taillight (optional feature) Turn signals (optional feature) Load equalizer (for optional features) Label TÜV certification INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Lift up the motorcycle at the rear frame end till the wheel lost contact to the ground. Make sure the motorcycle is secure and there is no danger of it falling or rolling! Remove the seat and the crossmember (A), the screws will be used further.
Page 12 Unscrew the four TORX screws that connect the fender struts to the frame (if necessary, get a second person to help holding the rear fender tight). Remove the rear fender. Mount the shock limiters (two pieces) to the damper rod. It’s may be easier to remove the damper for facilitate installation.
Page 13 Remove the screw at lower side of the OEM splash guard and take the guard out. Push the cuttings of the rubber splash guard over the clip of the OEM splash guard and install at the swingarm again.
Page 14 Mount the rubber splash guard with OEM screws of the crossmember. Position the fender to the frame and fix it with OEM screws. Place the 16 washers between frame and fender for lateral orientation to rear wheel. Take a note of the position the fender should be mounted. Drill borings for lighting and blinkers if necessary, license plate and seat mounting.
Page 15 Mount lightening*, blinkers, license plate and seat. If you are sure everything fits perfect, you can paint the fender. Use OEM screws and the frames covers.to install the fender finally. Place the washer same as before. Install and connect all lightings and blinkers to the wiring. Attention: US models (DOM) have to add wiring from plug 18B and 19B to the rear turn signals and from 40B to the taillight to separate the taillight and turn signals.
Page 17 Fix the wires by a bodywork adhesive to the inner side of the fender. Install the battery again. Doublecheck all nuts and bolts and look for any contact of wheel and fender! Making sure everything is safe and secure before and after test drive! Stick the label to a visible position.
Page 18 * Rear fenders with integrated taillight need a turn signal load equalizer (included) to connect it to the OEM wiring. Take care to connect the brake light as shown in scheme to prevent ABS malfunction! Wiring scheme with load equalizer: The Thunderbike team wishes you both safety and fun with your new parts.
