BEFORE USING THE PRINTER
To use the printer:
 You need a PC with an Internet navigator
 IERConnect software must be installed on the PC
(see IERConnect installation guide).

CONNECTING THE PRINTER POWER CORD

On the back of the printer, connect the power cord to the printer
power socket (1).
Connect the power cord to a power grid outlet.

STARTING THE PRINTER

While paying attention to the messages displayed on the screen
(3), put the power switch (4) of the equipment to the "I" (ON)
position.
After 2 seconds, the printing mode is displayed on the second line
of the screen (3):
 Wide: ATB format print mode
 Narrow: Bag tag format print mode

SETTING PRINT FORMAT

To switch from one printing mode to the other:
 The USB data cable must be NOT CONNECTED and the
print media must be NOT LOADED.
 Set the movable paper guide (6) to the desired position (8
for bag tag, 9 for ATB) and secure it with a locking screw (7).
 Simultaneously press the UNLOAD and ONLINE buttons (5)
for 3 seconds until the desired mode is displayed on the
screen.

CONNECTING THE PRINTER DATA CABLE

On the back of the printer, connect the USB data cable to the
printer USB socket (2) and to the PC.

LOADING THE PRINTER

Insert the print media, thermo-sensitive side up, between the 2
paper guides (6) until the media is trained by the printer.
