If the temperature control on the Amerec DESIGNER S Series control panel is not working properly and requires turning the knob past the #10 setting for the unit to activate, the thermostat knob or the thermostat itself may need to be fixed, repaired, or replaced. Specifically:

1. Check the Thermostat Knob (Part No: 2140-653) – Ensure it is properly attached and not worn or damaged.
2. Inspect the Thermostat Component – If the knob functions correctly but the temperature setting is inaccurate, the internal thermostat may need adjustment or replacement.
3. Verify Electrical Connections – Loose or faulty wiring could affect temperature regulation.

If replacing, use the specified parts from the heater specification chart.

The Amerec DESIGNER S Series heater is intended for use with an SC-9, SC-60, or SC-CLUB control panel. If your unit did not come with a control panel or heat sensor, you should obtain the correct control panel to ensure proper operation. Using any other control panel voids the warranty and UL listing. Additionally, the unit requires a heat sensor for proper function. You may need to contact the manufacturer or a service provider to acquire the necessary components.

Hello, I **** trying to upgrade from the SC-60 controller to the digital Saunalogic2 60 minute digital controller. Is the Saunalogic2 digital controller compatible with this model Saunatec 1712-80-0204 Sauna model? Note: We have the Control Box (CB16) needed for new digital controller and have installed everything properly but we get a permanent (HL) High Limit error when we turn components on.

If the timer on the Amerec DESIGNER S Series SC60 control panel does not shut off after 60 minutes, the issue could be a malfunction in the 60-minute timer component (Part No. 3140-505). It may need to be inspected or replaced.
